M&M Real Estate Oktoberfest
Every fall we clear out the office, string up the lights, and throw an Oktoberfest for our clients, our neighbors, and anyone in Elk Grove who wants to come eat with us. No pitch, no presentation, no sitting through anything. Just good food and good people.
It runs 6:30 to 9:00. We end at nine because nein means no in German, and that is the only German any of us actually know.

Real sausages, not sad ones
Brats and sausages from Lockeford Meats and Sausage, the family shop up in Lockeford that people drive an hour for. Pretzels and the usual sides to go with them.
German style beer from down the street
Flatland Brewing Company is right here in Elk Grove on Survey Road and has been since 2016. They are pouring the German styles. Soda and water for anyone not drinking.
A questionable polka playlist
There will be accordion. We are not apologizing for it. There will also be a photo corner with hats and props, because last year those pictures were the best part.
Bring the kids and the dog
Family friendly and dog friendly, both genuinely, not as a figure of speech. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome and will be made a fuss of.
The Wiener Games
Silly challenges, zero athletic ability required, and a trophy on the line. The winner is crowned Biggest Wiener Champion and has to take the trophy home and explain it to people. Sign up at the door or just get volunteered by whoever you came with.

Everyone who comes gets a ticket at the door, and the prizes come from Elk Grove businesses we actually use. We draw the winners live on the Monday after and let you know either way. You do not need to be there to win.
What you are in for
Do I need to RSVP?
No, but it helps a lot. It tells us how much food to order, and we would rather over order than run out.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It is free to attend and the food and drinks are on us.
Can I bring people?
Please do. Bring your family, bring a neighbor, bring whoever. Just add them to your headcount when you RSVP.
Can I really bring my dog?
Yes. Leashed and friendly, and there will be water bowls out.
Is there parking?
Yes, in the office lot and along Elk Grove Blvd. Come a few minutes early and you will not have to think about it.
Is this a sales thing?
No. Nobody is going to corner you about your home value. Scott will be there, and if you want to talk real estate he is happy to, but that is entirely up to you.
